Karen R. Hammond, ChFC

Karen R. Hammond, ChFC is the President of the Hammond Agency, founded in 1980.

Karen is a Past President of the Northern Virginia Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NVAIFA). She was a charter member of the Association of Health Insurance Agents (AHIA) and is a current member and past board member of the Society of Professional Financial Advisors. Karen is a Past President of the Greater Merrifield Business Association and currently serves on their board.

Karen is a Life and Qualifying Member of the Million Dollar Round Table*. As such, she enjoys recognition as one of the top 6% of insurance professionals and financial advisors worldwide. Passing a series of examinations on financial topics, Karen earned the designation of Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC).

Outside of her business and community involvements, Karen serves in her church as Employment Advisor to anyone seeking employment or better employment. She also loves working with the youth because they help keep her young at heart. On the other side of that spectrum, Karen is writing a book on aging with grace and living a life with few regrets.

Karen resides in Falls Church with her husband, David. She is the proud mother of four children, four grandsons, and two granddaughters.
